Agro/food processing

Long-standing experience

HVA International has build up long-standing experience in food processing mainly in dairy, meat, poultry, sugar, vegetable oil, tea and coffee, and also in grain processing and processing of horticultural crops. Up to date, HVA International’s ability to provide integrated solutions in the field of agro processing and production of food products and beverages is well appreciated by clients in both the private and public sector.

Successful projects worldwide

Livestock products

HVA International’s position in poultry and dairy processing has been firmly established by the development, construction and management of two large scale fully integrated poultry and dairy projects in Libya between 1982 and 1991. Under difficult climatic conditions, these projects realised excellent results, producing a range of quality poultry and dairy products, in quantities well beyond the pre-guaranteed targets.

Since then, HVA International has implemented and/or managed several large scale and small scale dairy and poultry processing projects in Egypt, India, Nigeria, Zambia, Saudi Arabia and Iran and has conducted a number of sector studies, project identifications and feasibility studies associated with dairy and meat processing. Some examples of recent and on-going projects related to livestock products include:
